Guess Who? Agassi and Graf Transform Beyond Recognition in Spooky Halloween Costumes

Tennis couple Steffi Graff is dressed as Pippi Longstocking, the protagonist in a children’s books, and Andre Agassi makes for aperfect Austin Powers, a popular Hollywood character.
Former tennis royalty Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf have a great sense of humour! They proved this with their choice of costume for a Halloween party back home in the US this year.

While Graff, a 22-time Grand Slam champion, was a more than adequate Pippi Longstocking (the protagonist in the Pippi Longstocking series of children’s books by Swedish writer Astrid Lindgren), husband Agassi, who won eight Grand Slams during his career, is a dead ringer for Austin Powers, a popular Hollywood character.

Discussing their costumes on her website, Graff wrote, “”Halloween! There are so many reasons why October is one of my favorite months. We celebrate a lot of birthdays including both of our kids and many cousins. It’s also our anniversary month; this year it was our lucky number 13. And always a highlight for us is our annual Halloween party. Each year we eagerly anticipate seeing what creative and interesting costumes our family and friends have come up with…and the one that will be crowned the winner. Here’s a picture of us from this year…I went as Pippi Longstocking and Andre was Austin Powers. It was a fun evening and since it was Friday we got to spend a little more time Trick or Treating through our ‘scary’ neighborhood.”
